We have helped many jobseekers move abroad over the years. Almost every one of them has been nervous before the trip and had (mostly good) butterflies in their stomach.
That’s completely normal, as moving to another country to live is a big step! However, it passes after you’ve been there for a while.
It may take some time to realize that you are now abroad and what opportunities it gives you. We love to hear from people after they have traveled, and that’s where the inspiration for this article came from.
Traveling abroad to live and work is not for everyone. Having said that, we have received really good feedback from our travelers privately and also have lots of 5-star reviews on Trustpilot.
Sure, we know it’s “preaching to the choir”. But we really want to share with you how great it has been for others.

Phew, I was nervous before I boarded the plane! I’ve never done anything like this, so it felt incredibly daunting.

What about the bad feedback?
Let’s talk about the elephant in the room.
We have rarely sent people abroad who have come back earlier than planned. This has so far happened to 2 travelers, for various personal reasons.
We have not yet received any outright bad feedback, but there have been a few instances where elements have been mentioned that were not as good.
We are not satisfied with that, so we have used previous feedback to improve what we offer you. And also updated information in our travel guides so you are better prepared as a traveler.
The good thing about working abroad is that if the job or the country turns out not to be for you, you can always go home again. Or try something else.
No one will blame you for that, but of course, the goal is that you should have the coolest trip of your life!
We (fortunately) almost exclusively receive excellent reviews, and we are really proud of that.
